MAIN FEATURES OF A SURGE PROTECTION DEVICE

CDPP: design and development

DefPower participates in the design of CDPPs (Custom Defence Power Products), offering the sale of intellectual property (IP) when the customer requires full exploitation of the design. Based on this development, we can also take care of the complete manufacture of the product or produce specific components for integration into other systems.
The items we manufacture include, for example:

  • Specific flanges and mechanical elements
  • PCBs and associated electronics
  • Washers and machined parts
  • Sensors and integrated electronic components

TVPD: adaptation and manufacturing

We offer TVPD (Tactical Vehicle Power Distribution) adaptation or manufacturing services, adjusting our products for integration into different platforms or electrical architectures. This capability allows us to respond to the specific requirements of each vehicle or programme.

PDUs: customization

DefPower designs and manufactures customised PDUs (Power Distribution Units), adapted to the electrical, mechanical and integration requirements of each system.
In these projects:

  • The sale of the design IP is not contemplated.
  • Technical support and after-sales services are provided, ensuring operational continuity and system reliability throughout its life cycle.

Manufacturing components for third parties

In addition to developing its own products, DefPower offers manufacturing capabilities for third parties, producing electronic and electro-mechanical components that can be integrated into larger-scale systems.
The components we manufacture include:
